DID I HEAR SOMEBODY SAY “SMALL INCIDENT” |
|
PANIC is what they want to create for Indians, disaster, loss, slaughter, anger, mishappeninig this is what we are facing, however known as a developing nation India seems to be an individual country which has vast ethnic culture and huge bulk of population having both the categories filled educated and uneducated. While India itself is a hub for many international companies, multinationals banks, putting up their business setup in India’s vast market, and of course it is an employment revolution for Indians with that a big amount of per capita income is consumed by these multinational giants even the nation is developing with these opportunities it is also a caputerization of market by these. This is a tremendous growth for country but some hands from the other side of border want to create humiliating situations not only for Indians but for the whole world. They sail the water of the Arabian Sea to the gate way of India just to make the red color of the soil of Mumbai by blood… This is what they call “JIHAAD”…. |
Year 2008 when the whole world market seems like a ragged old cloth instead of ravishing silk in this global meltdown, I was through by writer/ diplomat shashi tharoor article about India and its vast ethnic culture form his book The Elephant, the tiger and the cellphone, written about India tharoor compared it with an lumbering and slumbering elephant, who walk in a way like an elephant does, then transformed into a tiger which moves fast and aggressively like India does. It starts developing its infrastructure slowly in the biggning, the growth was little slow and while coming to the 21st century the growth is speedy and tremendous, and the cellphone epitomizes the reinvention of the country. Indians are buying 7.5 million of cell phones per year which means fisherman farmers and auto-rickshaw drivers are using cellphones. But… |
Unfolding horror story of India starts with one name terrorism a flying vulture in Indian sky, a predator for innocent people and giant opening its mouth to swallow world peace, love, life and brotherhood, Mumbai known financial capital of India is attacked & terrorized by some intruders suspected from across the border. Slaughter blood, panic they filled the CST station of Mumbai with dead bodies of innocent’s, TAJ, Oberoi, Nariman house slaughtered and are standing as witness of the black day 26th Nov. 26th November the terrorists suspected to be part of LeT Lashkar-e- Taliban captured Mumbai’s Taj, Oberoi hotels, nariman house and others for more than 50 hours the financial capital was laid siege by 10 people terrorist group. The entire ordeal ended on 29th November with a huge cost of human life and property the places targeted is favorite hangout points for foreigners and the business class. Experts say these attacks will severely hit volume rates of tourism in Mumbai and India in general, it is believed that impact of recent terror attacks would not be limited to Mumbai only, both business and leisure travel to India would be affected. ”Volumes were down 30 - 40% across India in the last five days and 50% in Mumbai. Low prices wouldn’t help either. ITC and Thomas cook India expects that Mumbai attacks affect inbound tourism severely so does not much change in out bound tourism “Corporate travel is already down” it is expected that tourism industry is headed towards tough 8-9 months , Cancellations are expected in goa due to British government advisory. |
Indians considering this day as 9/11 of India, if i am not agree this point would be unthruthful, bulk of dignified people lost their lives, Mumbai top cops to Commandos to News Editor, even the GM of TAJ lost his wife and two children while saving guests. At least 101 people including foreigner tourists and counter-terror officers killed and near about 287 were injured. Three top most officials Vijay salaskar, Ashok kamte DCP 1 zone Mumbai and ATS squad chief Hemant karkare were killed with nine policemen killed in the gunfire with terrorists. Major Sandeep unnikrishnan (31) was seriously injured and scarified his life chasing the terrorists in TAJ.
Loss of life of foreign tourists is a Question mark on the hotel and travel sector lot of upcoming tourists cancelled their tickets reservation and bookings, crore of rupees revenue loss for the sector. While having tea in morning with morning news paper, my eyes struck on one of the posters carried by the protesters of Mumbai, The heading of the poster was “we prefer a dog visit our house than a politician” Mumbai protest arose anger dissatisfaction in Mumbai youth. Calamity is of International tourism business in India with lot of lives, totally unexpected, But for some of our so called politicians it is a small incident. Maharashtra home minister said in an interview that these incidents are likely not a big issue, for big countries. What an absolutely delightful thought from a responsible minister…. |
Flash back when we speak about India with an European or American they imagine it as some snake charmer showing his street show, sadhu laying on the bed of nails, beggar and so on… the story never ends here, now when Europeans and American look forward to Indians they think about guys who are Computer guru software geek or tech wizard, we have Asia’s second largest billionaire, yet another second largest pool of trained scientists and engineers we have even – near about 260 million more children we have who have never seen inside of school then any other country in the world, we can understand where these kind of calamities and attacks are going to take our infrastructure and mind setup of countrymen. The story of India unfinished, unwritten, But needs to be told… |
